ABOUT SPACE CITY SKI & ADVENTURE CLUB

We are a non-profit, member run, Travel, Ski and Adventure Club operating in Houston, Texas. Celebrating our  60th anniversary in 2024, we offer 8 - 12 winter and summer trips per year, all over the world. From the powder snow in Colorado to the distance shores of the Galapagos Islands, we offer something for everyone.


Our variety of social, sports, cultural, and charitable events complete our annual calendar of activities. We host general club meetings from September through May, and monthly Happy Hours on the 4th Thursday of each month.

Proud of our 60-year history, Space City Ski & Adventure Club is an organization of active adults, both skiers, former skiers, and lovers of travel.  Our mission is to provide fun, healthy, and quality experiences for everything from exotic international trips to locally based events.

As a fully volunteer club, we provide the activities and excursions that you are interested in.   We encourage members to share ideas and interests and we will try to make it happen. 

MEMBERSHIP
Our dues are an incredibly affordable $45 per season for singles, and $80 per season for couples.  We believe it is the best deal in Houston for the fun, camaraderie, and experiences at Space City Ski & Adventure Club.

TRIP INFORMATION

The cornerstone of Space City Ski & Adventure Club is each season’s trips.   We have expanded our selection of destinations to include member favorites as well as exotic locations.  Also we are offering shorter duration trips to interesting places for those who love to explore. Visit the Trips section for details on what we are offering this year.  If what you are interested in is sold out, ask to be added to the wait list.

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES

Part of the fun is sharing the variety of activities that are sponsored by Space City Ski & Adventure Club.  From monthly happy hours and member dinners, to bowling and bingo parties, to pickleball tournaments, there is something for everyone.  Explore the Activity section of the website for the details and remember to sign up. Non-members are welcome to join us at our happy hours

DAVID L GEORGE NOTICE - One of our longtime members. 

Dear Friends and Family
 
It is with great sadness that I am writing to inform you that my husband Dave passed away earlier this week on October 14th. He died peacefully in his sleep at age 87. 
 
We are holding a Memorial service for David L George Sr. on October 23rd at 11:00 am at:
The Woodlands Methodist Church, 
Robb Chapel
2200 Lake Woodlands Drive, 
The Woodlands, TX 77380

Following the memorial service at the church, there will be a reception lunch at:

When you choose "Check" at the payment option pull down on the website, it will calculate your discount. Print out the invoice and mail the check and invoice to your TC.
All pricing is per person based on double occupancy.     If you register another person for ANY trip, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY FOR THEIR TRIP!
