RESORT INFORMATION:

The Banff and Lake Louise community wish to showcase all the dimensions of their world-class destination to provide an ideal venue for this Texas Ski Council trip. Surrounded by soaring mountain peaks and the world-famous dry mountain powder, snow frosted Rockies, a legendary lake, and a majestic glacier. The WOW factor of this trip cannot be emphasized enough! The iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel is in Alberta's Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is recognized globally for progressive environmental stewardship and responsible tourism as well as offering luxurious accommodations. The town of Banff and village of Lake Louise are essentially pockets of civilization in the wilderness. The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, “The Diamond in the Wilderness” offers an excellent location for both skiers and non-skiers who want to enjoy a magical escape. 






MOUNTAIN INFORMATION AND POINTS OF INTEREST:

MOUNTAIN INFORMATION:

All three resorts, Lake Louise – Banff (Sunshine) – Mt. Nor Quay are in Canada’s first National Park which provides 8,000 acres of skiable terrain. There are 2 gondolas, 26 chairlifts with a Snowfall over average 30 feet with the longest run measuring 5 miles.  All resorts are included with the Big3 ski pass. Free shuttles run to each resort.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS:

In addition to skiing one can enjoy tubing, ice skating, snowshoeing and hiking. There are also a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment throughout the area. The Chateau has six onsite restaurants including grab and go and an onsite spa.
