What could possibly beat a Spring Day on the water? Nestled along the picturesque San Bernard River is the River Rendezview, Dido's and the Yellowstone just 60 miles south of Houston. We will have a 90-minute tour of the beautiful San Bernard River on the Yellowstone paddlewheeler with a narrative of the river, fun facts, along with history of the boat and why it’s named the Yellowstone.
Following the tour, we will return to Dido’s for lunch (on your own) selected from a special menu that ranges from $9.00-$16.00.
Details:
$29.00/person ($31.00 for non-members) for the boat ride. There will be snacks and water on the bus. No charge for the bus. Lunch is on your own.
Refund Policy: Per the Standing Rules, a $10.00 cancellation fee will be charged for all events over $10.00. A potential caveat is if the cancellation is at the last minute where tickets have been purchased and we are unable to fill your spot, we may not be able to refund you.
Schedule of Events:
9:00 Bus departs Memorial City Mall
10:30 Arrive at the Dido's/River Rendezview for lunch selection
11:00 Leave on the Yellowstone for 90-minute tour
12:30 Return to Dido's for lunch
2:00 Depart Dido's
3:30 Arrive at Memorial City Mall
FYI—there are no restrooms on the bus.
Please arrive at Memorial City Mall no later than 8:30. The bus location address is 12161 Barryknoll Lane--look for the triangular parking lot.
DIRECTIONS FROM GESSNER:
Turn on Barryknoll from Gessner. Go just a little way down, and right past Planation on your right, there is a triangular parking lot. That is where we will meet. It’s almost directly across Barryknoll from the Cinemark Theater in the mall. If you get to the apartments on your right, you’ve gone too far.
